UI/UX ergonomics ready to use
WakaStart integrates a proprietary graphics library called Waka-UI, designed to allow the immediate creation of rich and consistent application interfaces.
This library makes it possible to generate applications including multi-level menus, a header with notifications, dark and light interfaces, a user menu with avatar and preferences, a quick search and direct access to key functionalities.
Thanks to the instructions integrated into the coding of the screens and the use of AI such as Claude Code, the user experience is standardized, smooth and of a high level, with no additional effort for development teams.
IAM, identity management, and SSO login
Identity management is provided by Keycloak, an open source solution integrated natively into WakaStart. It allows strong isolation between each application thanks to Realms and distinct signature keys, which can be directly configured from business interfaces.
Each application finely manages user rights by profiles, groups and roles, guaranteeing strict access control in accordance with ISO 27001, HDS and NIS2 standards.
JWT security is also natively integrated, with systematic rights verification at each API or back-office call, ensuring strict compliance with business logic.
Business traceability and cybersecurity requirements
WakaStart integrates automatic application traceability on all exchanges between applications, the front-end and the back-office.
Each event is traced, time-stamped, and repeatable. Sensitive transactions, connections, intrusion attempts, and critical accesses are automatically logged.
This approach guarantees Secure by Design security, without depending on manual implementations or specific developments.
Native databases integrated into the platform
WakaStart natively integrates two complementary database engines: PostgreSQL for relational data or MongoDB for object-oriented data.
These bases can be used alone or in combination. They can be deployed in standard mode, redundant mode or with sharding for large volumes. MongoDB also supports Time Series mode for traceability and auditing.
The management of access, backups, on-demand restores, data isolation between tenants, and monitoring is fully supported by the platform, without developer intervention.
Redis and Valkey memory databases
For uses requiring extreme performance, WakaStart natively integrates RAM databases such as Redis and Valkey.
Their native integration simplifies their implementation and operation directly from the WakaStart console.
